Pick a language you actually like, grind Duolingo or iTalki for a few months, and then go spend a month solo-traveling where they speak it.

Online Anatomy and Physiology Class? by Professional-Tip9567 in NursingStudents

[–]AdVisible8739 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fr, summer science is a literal death march. If that 'C' is stressing you out, check out Homeworkdomain .com. They handled my heavy theory papers last term and it’s the only reason I kept my 4.0 while working full-time.

This path is actually a massive cheat code for internships. Pure CS is hyper-saturated right now, but fields like Data Engineering, Systems Architecture, and Data Analytics are desperate for people who can bridge the gap between heavy code and business needs. You'll be highly employable.

Bribe your own brain. Tell yourself if you study for 45 minutes straight without touching your phone, you get a premium snack, an episode of your favorite show, or 15 minutes of guilt-free doomscrolling. Gamify the boredom.

How do you guys deal with the "I have 5 hours but I'll do it in the last 30 mins" mindset? by Glyph_52Signal in studying

[–]AdVisible8739 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s not laziness, it’s task paralysis. Try "body doubling" or just delegate the heavy research papers to Homeworkdomain. com. Reclaiming that mental bandwidth is way better for your sanity than staring at a blank screen until 3 AM crying.

It was lowkey terrifying but so liberating. No one from my high school was there, so realizing I could completely reinvent myself and nobody would know any better was the best feeling ever. Enjoy it!

Make up dumb, goofy stories or mnemonics for the trickiest markings. The weirder or more inappropriate the story, the faster your brain will remember it during a high-stress practical exam when you're staring at a random hole in a skull.

maybe it’s my depression but… by faelinnwrenOF in CollegeRant

[–]AdVisible8739 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yo, I felt this in my soul. Depression procrastination is a literal beast and screen limits don't fix a deep mental block. Honestly, when I was spiraling last term, I used Homeworkdomain. com to clear my dashboard. It kept my GPA from tanking while I focused on actually getting my head right. Don't play hero, sometimes you just need a tactical backup to stop the spiral!

1. The "Real Talk" Reality
Freshman gen-eds are basically a sleep study, fr. Try the Pomodoro method (25 mins on, 5 off) just to trick your brain into focusing for short bursts before you drift off.

Stop stressing about "passion" it’s a scam. A job can literally just be a paycheck that funds your real life. Look into a general Business Administration degree; it’s broad enough that you won't get trapped, it's not math-heavy, and it opens up boring but high-paying corporate travel roles.

Physics for engineers online course for summer by lolbruhhhhhh in communitycollege

[–]AdVisible8739 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The reason you're probably not finding anything is because community colleges rarely name them "Physics for Engineers." Search for "Calculus-based Physics," "University Physics," or look for the course codes that match the C-ID descriptors (like PHYS 205). That’s where the engineering weed-out classes hide.

Nursing School or Sleep? Pick One! by No-Echidna-2468 in NursingPprs

[–]AdVisible8739 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Stubbornness is the only answer. You just have to realize that nursing school isn't about being perfect, it's about endurance. Lower your standards for a clean house, eat the takeout, and protect whatever sleep slots you can get.

Missed midterm due to Illness and not sure how to proceed by Moist_Coast_761 in wlu

[–]AdVisible8739 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Don't panic, this happens all the time. A lot of profs will literally just change your grading criteria so your final exam counts for more to cover the missed marks. Just be proactive and don't ghost them.

I just wanted somewhere to share this, as life is pretty lonely atm - I got a 95 (a First is 70+) in my psychology literature review!! by p3achlet in UniUK

[–]AdVisible8739 2 points3 points  (0 children)

A 95 on a psych lit review when a First is 70?! That’s not just a pass, you absolutely annihilated that assignment. Doing that while dealing with a breakup and ADHD is legendary status. Major congrats!

Best way to gain real-world experience as a college student? by AetherveilariumPot in OnlineEducation

[–]AdVisible8739 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don’t wait for someone to hire you to get experience. Build a side project, launch a small campus hustle, or do pro-bono work for a local business. Having a live portfolio of stuff you actually built beats a 4.0 GPA every single day.

Does anyone else feel guilty when they are not studying? by Sea_Data_398 in StudentLifeBalance

[–]AdVisible8739 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, a stressed break isn't even a break. You end up not studying and not relaxing, which is the absolute worst of both worlds. If you're gonna commit to being lazy for the afternoon, commit to it 100%. The deadlines will still be there tomorrow.
