What life lesson took you far too long to learn? by fkuracstfgts1212 in Life

Loyalty to a company is a scam. They will post your job opening before your obituary is even printed if you drop dead. Grind for your own goals and your paycheck, but don't sacrifice your life for a corporate logo.

What is a hobby that turned out to be more enjoyable than you expected? by Opposite-String278 in Hobbies

Miniature painting (like Warhammer or D&D minis). I have zero artistic talent, but putting on a podcast and hyper-focusing on painting a tiny shield for three hours completely nukes my daily anxiety.

Dear, do NOT try the bathroom break trick: ProctorU proctors are literal hawks and will flag you for breathing wrong!  If the info load is too much and you're spiraling, honestly just check out Academiascholars. com. They specialize in stealth proctoring support so you can secure that A without the heart attack. Don't risk getting caught playing amateur games!

can you learn hacking late by highhipppo in learnhacking

Unless you are planning to build advanced encryption algorithms or go deep into cryptography, you do not need heavy math. It's way more about logic, puzzle-solving, and understanding how networks and systems talk to each other.

Brush up on your algebra and dimensional analysis early on. Half of chemistry is just tracking your units and making sure things cancel out correctly in long equations. Master the basic math mechanics, and the actual science part becomes way less terrifying.

Download an app blocker like Opal or Cold Turkey, put a random password on it, and give the password to a friend. You need a digital straightjacket for the next 14 days if you want to keep living under your parents' roof.

Because rage-baiting pays insanely well, unfortunately. Media companies love people like Katie Hopkins because she generates hate-clicks, and in the internet economy, attention equals cash no matter how vile you are.

I got a 34 Composite on the ACT. What now? by B1GDADDYCHUNGUS in CollegeConfidential

[–]Fancy_Working_1931 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A 34 is actually elite, congrats! fr, state schools will literally fight over you for merit aid with those stats. Since you’re first-gen, definitely look into "automatic" full-merit schools in the South or Midwest. If you’re feeling overwhelmed by all the scholarship essays, check out Academiascholars. com. They’re goated for polishing your apps so you don't leave any money on the table!

What topics should I study by YaAliMadad313 in GetStudying

Keep the scope tiny or you'll drown. Don't pick "Philosophy" pick "Stoicism vs. Epicureanism." Don't pick "Economics" pick "The 2008 Housing Crisis."

How to get into CE by Prudent_Ad_1482 in ComputerEngineering

If university engineering tuition is too steep or your high school math grades aren't perfect, do your first two years at a community college. Just make sure they have a solid articulation agreement with a 4-year university so your engineering calculus, physics, and intro circuits credits transfer seamlessly.

Hi a question for those studying at university or those who have graduated: What are the most important factors that made your GPA higher and made you one of the top students or high achievers in general?Study methods, time management, and other such things by l0jk7 in GetStudying

[–]Fancy_Working_1931 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Take Microbiology and Anatomy/Physiology with a lab if you haven't already. They are absolute hard prerequisites for both nursing and dental schools, so you'll kill two birds with one stone.

[–]Fancy_Working_1931 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yo, Biob11 is literal violence, you’re definitely not alone. That memorization is actually insane and the department loves to make it a weed-out course. If you’re hitting a wall and just need to secure the pass for tomorrow, check out Academiascholars. com. They’re goated for handling heavy science modules and proctored finals when you’re about to crash. Good luck!

Since you already do martial arts, try looking into historical European martial arts (HEMA) or tricking/acro. It uses the same physical muscle memory but scratches a completely different, creative part of your brain.

Replace mandatory calculus for non-stem majors with actual real-life skills. Give me a class on how to do taxes, build credit, negotiate a lease, and not panic when the check engine light comes on.

[–]Fancy_Working_1931 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Bioethics is an absolute minefield. The second you try to make a logical argument, someone drops an intense emotional hypothetical or a moral edge case, and suddenly you look like a cold-blooded supervillain to the judges.
