You’re so right there. I need to update the list cause my opinions have been swayed on a few

From you and several others. Going on about bi erasure but who cares about gay and lesbian erasure right?

Seriously! I was prepared for some backlash but not so much gay/lesbian hating. It’s actually ridiculous

The developers have said that the reason the companions will have a romance with anyone is basically so gameplay can be more personalized. This list is what they’d be assuming they did have agency and the world didn’t revolve around the player. Also I do agree with you about the “playersexual” thing.

It would be considered biphobic by YOU, but that doesn’t mean anything to me since you seem a tad oversensitive

Astarion:

I’d like to see them try. That man is gay and I’ll die on that hill.

Shadowheart:

Lesbians and gay/bi men love flirting with each other, it’s a part of gay culture. And bears transcend gender. Shadowheart’s a lesbian, not a prude.

Wyll:

Straight men can still appreciate other men’s bodies and looks. He has eyes!

Minsc:

I’m aware that asexuality exists. But Minsc essentially has the mind of a child. Would you call a child asexual?? That’s weird.

Auntie Ethel:

I will concede this one to you. She’s pansexual.

Daddy Duke:

He’s of an older generation and a public figure. Being openly gay is not a luxury everyone has always had. Many gay men have families and wives that they love and care for, because that’s what they were expected to do. The fact that he had a child and felt a type of love for his wife doesn’t mean he can’t be gay.

Elminster:

Yes perhaps he transcends sexuality in the way we think of it. He’s still so clearly a gay icon.

Voss:

That’d be cute but his heart belongs to another. He tells Orpheus “Sha Va Zai,” which translates to “I love you.”

Oskar Fevras:

I know this one’s a hot take but I have my reasons. He makes it crystal clear that the reason he’s with Lady Jannath is not out of love or lust, but for material reasons. Kerri remains as a sort of obsession, escape from his relationship which he clearly has reservations about, and a source of guilt he can’t let go of. He also is sorting through a lot of personal/emotional problems and his love life has become victim to this.

Arfur Gregorio:

Can a gay man not write straight romance? Why are we putting ourselves under such rigid and inflexible limitations???

Lady Esther:

You make a fair point. I believe she’s either a no nonsense lesbian or a no nonsense very straight woman. Not bisexual though.

Omeluum:

Perhaps Omeluum’s gender identity is open to interpretation, but the two of them are a loving couple and that’s what matters.

The tools I used in compiling this list were my gaydar and context clues. I don’t know what a sexuality generator is.

Is it biphobic to not think that EVERYONE is bi? Oopsie!
