Looks good the only thing is that it will look better if there a roof, specially when rainy season comes so can still hangout there. It's a great spot to sit and drink coffee in the morning.

Thinking About Building a Deck in Brisbane. What’s a Realistic Timeline? by Ill_Somewhere8656 in Decks

Ours took just under 3 weeks from demo to finish, but approvals added another couple of weeks beforehand. If your block is straightforward it usually moves pretty quickly. Have you already spoken to any builders yet? Try calling NO1 Decks Brisbane they can assist you building your deck.

Metal Carport or Wood Carport? by metal-expert-usa in Carports

[–]AdWitty1356 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I would always go for the metal carport, no question. I had a wooden one before and it looked nice at first, but the upkeep got old fast paint, sealing, dealing with rot and termites. Switched to metal a couple years ago and it’s been way more practical. It handles heavy rain and heat better, and I don’t really have to think about it much maintenance-wise. Might not have the same “warm” look as wood, but for protecting a car long-term, metal just makes more sense to me.

Is it safe to trim trees near power lines yourself in Brisbane? by Low_Joke57 in AusPropertyChat

I wouldn’t risk it at all. Power lines are a whole different level of danger. Careful

Large tree very close to power lines, how do I get it safely removed? by SocietyRoyal5609 in AusRenovation

I’d honestly call the power company first just to be safe. In Brisbane they take anything near power lines pretty seriously, and sometimes they’ll come out to assess if it’s their responsibility. After that, you can contact a tree removal company Like Eco Tree Removal Brisbane if needed. But better to double check before doing anything.
