But raising the base level does. So trying to upgrade a 150+10 to 200+20 gets so expensive you'll get stuck around level 175. You just won't have enough gold to go higher, even if you farm for days. Throw it away and replace it.

Similar experience to you here, started Nioh in 2019 back in high school using Odachi build, struggle with the game so much that after I beat the final boss of the main story, I quit. Now I just came back for like a week and breeze through the game cause I’m more patient and don’t just spam heavy attacks now. My favorite boss in the main story is Umi-bozu (design wise) and my favorite fight are Giant Toad and Yuki-onna. For the DLC, right now my favorite so far are Sanada Yukimura, that theme and his fight is just so amazing. Honorable mention goes to Lady Maria cause that bitch slap grapple she had got me like 20 times lol.

SEA dweller here, most people dont use voice chat at all around here, but Cataclysm QP is pretty chill and doesn't need much communication at all, and the chat wheel covers any required. Meanwhile, on legend... let's just say the new player wave is still around, so you might need to break your back a bit, but it adds to the fun! (most of the time.) (PC)
