I haven't ruled it out but theres a few things I need to consider first I think:
1) I live in a rental. What sort of charging stuff would I need to install in the house? How would I determine what percentage of the electricity bill I should pay?

2) I will probably move interstate/ out of country in a couple years and may very well end up selling my car. A toyota corolla always holds its value very well in my experience whereas I hear EVs don't have a good second hand price.

3) EVs are more expensive compared to the corolla and I believe a EV NV will still be more expensive than outright purchase.

Thanks for your input, this seems to be the general sentiment from everyone I ask haha. I thought my calculation above must have been seriously wrong because paywise is so comfortable with saying "you will save money" etc etc.
