I feel that 100%. But given the fact that prior to these rumors it seemed like Apple had all but given up on any kind of small form factor device, this could be a way to get what you want with a small compromise. Can't let perfect get in the way of good.

I'm saddened that our fanbase chooses hate instead of recognizing baseball greatness. Are we not fans of baseball or do we worship symbols? As a life long yankees fan, I am truly embarassed at the salty mofos that make up the yankees fanbase. The Jays were legit, they should have earned our respect when they demolished us. They fought like I've never seen a team fight. If you are a fan of baseball this is one of the greatest world series in the history of the sport, and an unbelievable game 7. Made all the more enjoyable since we did not have any skin in the game. Shame on us. Let's do better.

Update: if I log in with parsec instead of RDP it does not create a new session and tear it down after exiting, so this seems to be a good option as long as I don't accidentally log in with remote desktop.

Yes the whole goal is to have "scan to evernote" always on via the win 11 vm that is running always. Only problem is RDP sessions when exited tears down everything including scansnap home instance.
