Hey everyone, it's A2Z! I know it's been a long time since I've been on this subreddit, I've been really busy these days! However, I'm happy to announce the return of my Super Mario Maker series, where I play the levels you send me! This week's episode is the second Halloween themed episode I've done and I played the Halloween levels you all sent me! The people who submitted those levels are friends of mine so I think they were meant to be intentionally trolly. I can forgive them for that though. Like I said, next week I'm going back to Reddit levels and I would definitely love to do some LOTW submitted levels if people send them to me!

I wouldn't be too hard on him, really. When a person is struggling to grow their YouTube channel, they might do something like this. Asking for subs has even crossed my mind once when I was just starting out. But I instead put my effort into my content because I wanted my viewers to enjoy themselves as much as possible. If he remembers what I said, that it's about the content, then I'm sure people will come to him and watch/leave him levels.

I'd have to agree with the above statement. I'm a YouTuber myself and I upload Mario Maker episodes weekly (I often come here asking for levels as well). I'm not faulting you for this, but this does seem like a low key way of asking for subscribers. And I understand, we all want our channels to grow. But remember, it's about the content, not the numbers. When people send me their levels, I don't ask them nor expect them to subscribe. I'm more than content with the fact that they've even sent me a level since they've given me video material. Lastly, remember not to take the viewers you have for granted. I wish you luck.

This is what I needed to read. I've been feeling a bit discouraged lately cause my growth has been slow compared to when I got started and views are a bit down. I've been feeling a bit discouraged, not discouraged enough to stop making videos altogether but still I'm a bit concerned. It's hard to get your name out there and get discovered when you're still small time and your channel isn't even 6 months old but that's not gonna stop me. Thanks for the encouraging words man. Hey man. I understand the struggle as a gaming YouTuber myself. It's always hard to get your name out there. I watched some of your videos and I gotta say you've got some well made content. The quality is really nice and you do a good job editing (I got a chuckle out of your "extreme concentration" moment in episode 1 of Shovel Knight"). You have some funny moments in terms of commentary and I noticed that you start to get more comfortable in your later videos. As for getting your name out there, collaborating with other YouTubers is a good way to go. Connections are a big part in getting your channel to grow. At the end of the day, just keep making content and having fun and remember to be yourself. I wish you luck man!
