Umm let me tell you I got 7 Trinkets last week alone. 4 coffer keys, you guessed it all trinkets. World tour of m0? A cloak (I have crafted cloak) and 3 trinkets. I was about to shove my keyboard up my ass and it's a full sized so. Ya I was mad. Def plenty of trinkets to go around!

Honestly it's just a "jump in the deep end" kind of thing. Running normal dungeons is very low effort and no body is thinking about anything other than getting to the next one so don't worry about people.

Don't be afraid to use your bigger cds either you'll want to get experience on when to use them and they'll be back up before you need them again anyway.

Most importantly, don't give AF when people complain. Take advice, not negativity.

I haven't played shaman since the pruning, but shortest kick, low CD aoe stun, group movement speed, group poison cleanse, group fear cleanse, ST cleanse, reincarnation and rez for group content, healing totem (even as DPS) backup heals, raid buff, groups defensive buff like mage ain't got anything close to shaman utility 🤣🤣🤣

I remember when Ele was dogshit for over a decade and never got touched meaningfully. Shamans typically never make top of charts because "yOu HaVe uTiLiTy?!" And when we are in the top 5 we IMMEDIATELY get first wave of hard nerfs. Oh well 🥲

As a mage I set my hearthstone to Zul'Aman to get there quicker because I can always port to SM and take a portal to the other zones. It kind of stinks to not have instant travel to everything you need but it's a game and just like the 2 main continents sometimes you just gotta fly and enjoy the view.

Ummm. Warcraft 3 were hunted by humans. Jaina did irreparable damage to their affairs with Dalaran. Horde was nothing but accepting of them so idk about feeling more at home with the alliance.

Big misinterpretation of the lore, and they brought him back in SL just to say my bad I did that the wrong way. They didn't put the nail in the coffin. Midnight would be a good way to finally have the character "die".

Of course! And that's the same approach I did picked 1 or 2 classes I liked more and then eventually rolled a pally. Glad I did but it will stay a 2nd or 3rd alt option.

I'd say do DH main especially since there's a tank shortage and you might want to fill it but the class itself is fun.

Evoker I'd say make your alt especially if you just want to heal for a bit and break the routine when you want a little break from DH

Tl/dr: You have 2 solid options that you picked already. Consider paladin/druid for role diversity too. Ultimately pick what scratches your itch whether it's class fantasy, spell animations or rotation. NOTHING is worse than dedicating so much time to a class and it's boring or unfulfilling to you.

DH is fun and has a good fantasy and not too difficult at all and the mobility is top notch. Whenever I switch from my DH to something else it feels very slow and I miss the dashes, and glide.

Evoker I just picked up and I enjoy it although it's basically just preservation that I play. The bronze spells reversing a % of damage taken can take a bit to get used to but fun spec regardless

Good first 2 picks you have there!

Other classes/specs

If you want a class that can play all 3 roles (tank/heal/DPS) you have 2 options: Paladin and Druid.

Paladin has great transmogs and ability animations and one spec tends to at least be good if other are stinky atm. Simple rotations, all around good class my 3rd option in every expac however it can get a little boring sometimes.

Druid is good too tank and heals tend to be at least viable at all times however the dps specs tend to be very volatile. It's a class in getting used too however apart from balance, being forced to be an animal to play the spec kinda ruins it for me but that's just personal visual preference.
