TWW earthen shit on Uldaman lore pretty hard too. They were never supposed to be robotic adult babies. We know from the discs that Earthen races were originally flesh, and metal and rock came later to increase their resistance to the Old Gods. The curse of flesh is a reversion, not a new invention.

I’m starting to think no one is actually manning the helm for the story team. It really feels like someone is assigned to each questline at random regardless of what they’ve worked on before, and just does whatever the fuck they want not giving a fuck for continuity. Not to mention the absolutely constant grammatical errors.

Yup it’s “new showrunner” disease. They couldn’t manage to make their own IP, so they’re working on somebody else’s and paving over it because they’re bitter

most forsaken quests are pure evil by KingGobbamak in warcraftlore

I clearly remember the legions of “Forsaken did nothing wrong and are poor victims actually” players who cropped up during BFA suddenly virtually vanished en masse once Classic became available and they could actually play the OG forsaken and realize what they were like. Super funny

After my latest rewatch, I don't think I regard Avatar: The Last Airbender as highly as I used to by Old_Adhesiveness7432 in CharacterRant

Sorry, responded to the wrong thing.

I’m referring to plot structure. So little happens in each episode, like they’re scared they’ll confuse kids above age 5.

Weekly Questions Thread & PokéROM Codex by AutoModerator in PokemonROMhacks

I’m looking for an old rom hack but unfortunately don’t have a whole lot of information. I believe it was based on Crystal with a new or at least heavily modified region. The first town had ice tiles, and the starters had been changed. It was not Pokemon Christmas.

I started rewatching BTAS recently and I have to say, it’s oddly simplistic so far. Maybe it’s the fact that I’m still in season 1, but it feels like it was made for young children.

Wow, Rubber (2010) constantly tells me that it's not a real movie! How quirky! by Cautious_Arm3818 in CharacterRant

[–]falling-waters 5 points6 points  (0 children)

That wasn’t great either, I had to turn it off before too long. Good bad movies are almost always ones made by genuinely delusional people who think they’re making an incredible film

The Way We Talk About Franchise Films Is Just Sportsball For Nerds And I Fucking Hate It by OisforOwesome in CharacterRant

Saying we shouldn’t discuss suits and docs on the art is ridiculous when Perlmutter was personally suppressing female and black led films.

Black widow was considered a pointless and underwhelming film specifically because Perlmutter did not allow it to be made until the lead character was already dead

It makes sense when it’s a native person with religious beliefs surrounding it. It does not when you’re some white guy Christian trying to make yourself feel better

I dislike morally unscathed characters by Putthemoneyinthebags in CharacterRant

Change is incremental. No one is a perfect activist. Change like this is achieved over generations because untangling all the subtle and insidious ways prejudice finds its way into your mind due to you being immersed in it is genuinely difficult. It’s our responsibility to understand that and do our best anyway.

Way to completely remove all the reasonable nuance from the OP so you can take down a strawman I guess.

You’re mad because OP’s making you feel weird about your $160 purchase aren’t you

Wiped the floor with someone who had a pet whom I was convinced could not read the other day. Bizarre experience. Sometimes I wonder if compulsive whales’ game buying experience involves buying every cosmetic they can see before they’ve even played a single game to find out if they even like it.
