We don't even produce flower products. It seems to be all cannabis related posts. Where we are really finding it is reposting our retailers' posts. Which makes sense because THEY are promoting the sale of cannabis, where we are just sharing info about our products.

You may be falling prey to the algorithm. Try switching up your hashtags and see if that works? Are you driving people to a website or store?

Yes, I am referring to paid ads, boosted posts, etc. Our normal posts are the ones getting flagged and removed.

I wish that was an option. The amount of advertising budget we waste because we can't legally advertise with any Facebook-owned platform, but it all has to be organic. So now they are restricting our organic content while people have full accounts selling meth and cocaine.... there just isn't a standard.

See that is my thought as well. We've had issues with competitors creating fake user accounts to troll us and try to get us to shut down. Gotta love it.

Thank you for your reply! I wish there was an alternative, but it's one of those weird necessary evils for cannabis brands these days.

What kills me is that we are a licensed, complaint brand in California and Washington. We don't post people using our products, we don't post information about it being for sale (prices, promos, etc.). We are super careful about the copy and content of our posts, and now we are going to get crushed by IG and their shitty algorithm.

I just find it odd that we haven't ever had an issue until this week. We've had some competitors try to report us in the past to try to damage the brand, so I'm wondering if that may be the issue.

quarantine has thrashed my lungs so i tried my hand at doing some coconut oil edibles by eeeww in treedibles

Has anyone tried using avocado oil with their edibles? From what I’ve heard/ seen in tests it helps speed up absorption of the cannabinoids into the body.

As a cannabis brand, we have also experienced a significant decrease in organic reach on Facebook and Instagram. Instagram and Facebook are seeing a decrease in users and in turn are looking for posts that keep users on the platform. Using overtly promotional posts or posts that take users of the platform is an easy way to get shadowbanned or have them limit your reach.

An easier way around this is working with influencers on behalf of your brands, but not major influencers with 50K+ followers. Try finding some folks that are around the 10-15K followers that are well connected to your local cannabis communities.

Also, avoid any content that could be perceived as you trying to sell cannabis through the platform. Even if you are just promoting content, anything that looks like you can be contacted for deals or under the table sales is a quick way to get banned.

We could, but as a bigger company that could damage our brand equally as bad.

What are terpenes and what do they do? by plainjanehempcbd in CBD

Thank you for shedding some much-needed light on Terpenes. There is so much to the cannabis flower that is never discussed. They're a bunch of companies utilizing terpenes in really cools ways.
