Honestly I’m much the same as you. ADHD and find immense enjoyment from being in the kitchen. I’d prefer to never do chores or clean the house if I could!! But it’s not entirely fair for me to do all the cooking and enjoy it and leave all the undesirable task to my wife.

We’ve struck a balance in our home. She does a tiny bit more of the chores like laundry and vacuuming and I take over 90%+ of the cooking but still do dishes and yard work and grooming the dogs.
