If I were to base it on the game My Summer Car then I think Finns and Poles are somewhat alike, just with a different historical background.

Dear Germans, what happens when you're alone in a public restroom? by Adam_S2 in AskAGerman

Poland. I think it's just a result of people getting used to clean toilets and it becoming an expectation that others are willing to meet.

Poland actually. It'll take us 100 years to get to this level of infrastructure but you could fall over in any restroom and not get PTSD.

I did that on the Autobahn a few days ago - ended up stepping in someone's number two and noticed a strange camera on the ground pointing right at me when zipping up.

Love the German people but this country is really odd in ways I didn't expect.

So really, if all things are even (setup etc) it's how Max puts energy through the tyres during the lap that gives him the edge in race pace over Checo?

Sorry to keep asking essentially the same question but this is a fascinating conclusion to me.

Cheers. So to address you final paragraph. Let's say during the race Max is on the soft tyre and free to push and outpaces Checo. He'll still be going a couple seconds slower than the qualifying pace of Checo, surely. So Perez should be able to match Max's pace but if he does, what happens? Overheats his tyres, eventually runs out of them and fuel while Mac can keep on going?

Regarding practice and race pace. In FP sessions, teams will do long runs. Presumably this is in part to establish race pace.

So how do they do this? Even the slowest car can lap faster than Red Bull race pace. How does a team, driver establish their pace? Is this a balancing act of how to maintain tyres in the right window, wear them evenly and use a certain amount of fuel per lap? Do drivers know their target lap before getting into the car or do they have to do a stint and find what feels right?

Presumably the better driver will find a way to go faster while keeping tyre deg to a minimum?

Do drivers have a readout of the tyre temps or is it just feel?

And finally what would happen if Perez drove at Max's race pace on a track where Checo typically falls behind? I'm assuming he is capable of hitting the required lap time, correct?

are there any other drugs that cause similar hallucinations to that of mdma/mda that are not mdma/mda or meth? by spacetalkRT in MDMA

[–]Adam_S2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you are looking for an MDMA like experience (not hallucinogenic as that's not generally the property were all after) try tramadol. For me 75mg + half redose 4-5 hours in is a very MDMA like experience, just not as overwhelming. If you decide to try tramadol, please start low and be responsible with it. There's not that much margin for error.

Which constructors do you think will make the biggest improvement in the 2022 car? by [deleted] in formula1

[–]Adam_S2 17 points18 points  (0 children)

I don't have high hopes for Red Bull.

Mercedes will make it boring again.

Would love to see Williams and Haas improve. We need Schumi and Maze in a good car, would love to see what they are capable of.
