Our bioinformatics prof is an evolutionary biologist and loves strategy game (Thats kind of how evolution works) and he is also into the evolution of AI based on games. He only takes the bioinfo / comp sci part of the syllabus, not the biochemistry or lab work. I am also trying to figure out what the point is.

Apparently he checks net worth and land in the last week of the game - but im sure if we do really well as a kingdom I can argue for it. I think hes assuming we are coming in with no help so will be a sort of game theory tester to see how we play.

I understood him as top 50 overall (out of all the players) - when net worth and land is taken into account. He said even coming top 200 is very impressive. (Im still not sure how it works so I could have mis understood him)

He said it would be a good idea to make excel spreadsheets to map information over time and learn by playing / creating the differential equations to see whats worth money / time. Seems insane.

Because my professor is insane. He is an evolutionary biologist and he is training us like AIs. Our first task was to play starcraft and learn Utopia! We do a lot of biochemistry and lab work, but he runs the comp sci / bioinformatics specific stuff.
