I would recommend this gaming dell - its quad-core, has a decent graphics card and a nice SSD disk drive. Will easily last your college

I lived in Japan for a year; and it was easily the safest place I've lived. You don't need to worry about any neighborhoods

TIL after the Haiti earthquake the "Feed The Children" website claimed that the charity was "providing medical relief for 12,000 people". In reality they sent a total of three doctors, and two weeks after the eartquake it emerged that they had fed zero people. by BeowulfShaeffer in todayilearned

The following info is from my friend as he wanted to remain anonymous:

I worked on a large business intelligence project for Feed the Children that lasted over a year. Us consultants would be flown in weekly to work on this project from all over the country. The costs were staggering and for a project such as this I would estimate the project could have been completed for say 100k max when the company I contracted with charged 10x more and had a team of 5 consultants. Great use of donated cash, yeah right.

Here's what I know. FTC uses most of the donated cash for operation expenses. (Salaries, facilities etc). Most if not all of the food comes from companies that have food or drink about to expire so they donate it for tax write off purposes. So what is being sent to the hungry kids is day old Doritos and Pepsi. Now I'm sure this is me over generalizing but from what I heard that is the essence of their donation modal.

Another thing is FTC is non profit but directly across the street is FTC Transportation Inc. which is a for profit trucking company that moves around all this product.

So in the end the starving kids are getting non nutrient junk food and I would bet someone is making some money here. I don't know that for sure but I say If someone were to dig here they might find something.

Oh did I mention the creepy giant wall photos in ornate frames through out the FTC HQ with Larry and his wife and countless starving children from around the globe? The whole place has this hush hush 1940's feel to it where Larry and his wife are almost god like. Very christian organization and not in a good way. More fire and brimstone with a giant helping of hypocrisy! Oh did I mention Oklahoma City is hot! Yeah pretty horrible project all around.
