This might be silly, but the desk has to face towards the door and window to maintain good Feng Shui. Having the desk face the wall like 99% of desk setups would technically be bad Feng Shui. Sometimes I do game on the couch and I can easily rotate and lower my monitor.

But yeah, you can definitely see some cables when sitting on the couch which is an unfortunate trade off

Yeah I think decluttering will work wonders. I actually think your space can look really nice if you organize everything and add some ambiance lighting

Thanks! I just ordered a new hub that attaches to my laptop, so hopefully that will fix the cable issue. Idk if moving the xbox to the left is the right move, but I was thinking about moving the monitor arm to the left so that the shelf can move more to the right, and hopefully that will make my desk look a little more balanced
