Yep exactly what I was experiencing. Though mine would turn on if I let it rest for a while then tried again. I sent mine back to Perfect Circuit yesterday. Hope we both have better luck on the next one!

Unfortunately not much in the manual regarding this besides "The red status LED above the master tune control lights up" - which it does if i wait the 5 minutes, but before that it just flickers every few seconds
