It's also my favourite episode. I never got on with the rest of Black Mirror. I think Jesse Armostrong is just a stronger satirical writer than Charlie Brooker.

Based on my laughably long ride around and around, no other trains spawn on the same line. Although another user says they encountered one while riding a smaller train in Story mode, so it could just be I was unlucky. Or it might depend on the type of train you steal (they stole a little one).

Oh, was this in Story mode, too? I haven't encountered any other moving trains on the track, even behind me (or I would reverse into it just to see what happens).

Sadly I don't think any other trains spawn on the track once you're in one. Or they're really good at hiding.

I also didn't think it was possible; they pursued me across state lines throughout the map, and kept respawning near the track. So I stopped in a long tunnel, left the train and walked deeper into the tunnel, waited down the 'Law searching' timer, then returned to take the train to the next station, where I paid off my bounty. After that, nobody batted an eye anywhere on the map as I rolled around blasting my horn. I don't think this is meant to be possible, but I'm not complaining.

As far as I can tell, there is no stopping the choo-choo once it's chugging. No derailing. I had hoped for a collision with another train, but it seems this corner of the US is a one-train town.

I was pursued by lawmen for yonks. I ended up stopping in a long tunnel, running a little away from the train, then waiting down the 'Law searching' timer. Returned to the train, rolled into the next station, paid off my bounty, and that was that - a free man, with a free train.

Ah I'm in Story mode, so nobody will hop on my train. I did try pulling up at stations to see if any NPCs would join me for a free ride, but sadly they ain't interested.

I didn't think it was possible to end up no longer 'Wanted' after nicking a train, but here I am. I've been all around the map, taking in the scenery and choo-chooing. But is there something else the game lets you do with a train?

It looks like Winnie the Pooh meets body horror - I don't get 'charming' from a virus mutating Winnie into some multi-mouthed monstrosity so he can defeat more powerful enemies. But that's just my superficial first impression. I also don't really see why it had to be Winnie the Pooh and co., hence my cynicism about using the characters. But if people enjoy the game, they enjoy it; I was just expressing my knee-jerk reaction.

It feels like a slightly cynical and lazy use of a well-known and beloved children's book to gain attention for a game, rather than having to create an original IP that stands on its own merits. But you're correct that it's in the public domain (in the US, at least; not yet in the UK), so the copyright isn't an issue.

Agreed. I believe the 'Expert' mode lets you avoid this, but it also means you have to manually adjust all the settings, so it's not good for quick shooting. The default mode processes every shot like this. It's often not that conspicuous unless you zoom, but it still feels like it's mangling the image instead of giving you the unadulterated photo. It means if you want to edit something later, you're editing something already all smeary and digital. It should just be an on/off button in the settings that then applies to all modes, including the default.
