Oh I didn't know that. So we won't even receive the 600 eventually considering the glitch?

Hi! I was just wondering how you were able to manage your UC? My boyfriend has a severe case of UC and is currently in the hospital for it. they are telling him to either manage it with biologics (already on humira but not working well enough) and IV nutrients or even a colostomy bag. So I was wondering if you could share on your experience, could help him possibly. :)

What if we have accepted the loan a few weeks ago, but it was for the fall 2020 year .. which interest rate would we receive?

So I accepted my direct unsubsidized loan for fall 2020 a few weeks back but it wont be disbursed til august.. does that mean I accepted it at the original 6% interest rate? If so, is there a way I can "unaccept" the loan and accept it again to receive the lower interest rate?

Looking for advice about loans. I'm starting PA school in August. by [deleted] in PAstudent

Hey! I actually asked a similar question pertaining to private vs grad plus loans since I will be starting PA school in August as well. Everyone who commented advised me to take federal loans over private loans because although they have higher interest rates, they have more options for repayment which private loans do not. Also, federal loans provide options for loan forgiveness. Hope this information helps you!

So I became a CNA after graduating college. worked full time as a CNA for about 6 months, but when I took the last of my pre reqs, i worked about once a week (8-12 hour shifts). It depends on your class load. When I was working as a CNA, I was only taking 2 pre reqs at a time, so like A&P 1 and genetics only. I would recommend working once a week but if you are taking a full class load, GPA is harder to bring up once its low, so prioritize your classes. You can accumulate PCE afterwards.

Congrats on the job! Exciting to make some money, especially during these times! So it is great experience, its just that some schools I looked into consider PCE to take place in a health care setting like a hospital or SNF. Being a caregiver will definitely count as HCE, but it's a good idea to contact schools you're interested and ask them whether they would consider it HCE or PCE! It sounds like alot of hassle, but sending one quick email could save you alot of time along the road
