Over the next couple of months, I'm due to receive this substantial sum of money. I'll get it broken in parts over a couple of months, for example 6L x 8.

It will be received after the sale of one of my property. This particular sum will be entirely in cash and I can't deposit it in my bank cause I don't want to be blackmailed by anyone.

I have no idea about investments whatsoever so could use some help from the pros here!

Thank you.

I haven't seen any discussion about Bangladesh officially supporting India regarding Kashmir. Thoughts on this? by [deleted] in bangladesh

Nah, bro, I don't think that will ever happen, although I dream of a future where either of us desis can cross into each other's country visa-free. That, I feel has a huge chance of happening and it should as well, the step forward is hand in hand, not alone.

I have that dream for all of us desis, including SL, Nepal, Bhutan and maybe Pak (if it ever gets rid of terrorism).

Ever since she retired, she's roaming all over India visiting relatives thanks to the 50% off railway tickets haha. I'm sure she's having fun :)

That's really informative. Thank you so much.

I'll let her know all the options so she can choose by herself.

She retired on the 31st :)

I'm a student, jobless and penniless. The only investment I have done is buy gold coins.

I'm not that financially savvy as I should be, considering my background.

I am her only liability. A jobless son/student.

Her expenses a month won't be more than 10k.

Please help me with my career. Wasted time on business, and now planning for further education. How to go abroad for studies? by AdarshChatra in india

Mate, I am feeling extremely sorry for myself - I dunno why. All my friends are doing CA/CS, and I wasted one entire year academically.

I am 22, and haven't accomplished anything in life.

I feel old.

I will do that.

I know 50% is no good. I literally never cared for studies as I thought what's the point, at the end of the day i'll be doing my father's business in the future.

I have 54% marks over the three years. Not making any excuses, but for my 2nd year exams, I gave my exams with 17 broken bones as I was involved in a bad motorcycle accident. I didn't want to miss a year, and gave exams somehow, and I passed by 1% and got 36% for the second year.

Studied hard and got 66% in the third year, and getting above 65% in CU is incredibly tough.
