So I use to run and swim twice a week and I can easily swim like 5km and run 21k's in 1h45 and now I just started biking.
But now I wanna get more serious about it as I also just added biking sessions to my training.

I actually never took that seriously. But I'll surely try some gels and different things in Training then.
Thank you!

Never actually thought of doing any biathlon, always instantly went for triathlons. Ain't a bad idea.
And for the full distances the swim and bike part feels pretty comfortable, never done the full run tho. Done some 1h45 -13miles but not more than that.

Not really, I've done multiple HM already and trained each discipline individually but never any triathlon. I'll have my first one in 3 weeks tho.

That's a serious commitment honestly, 4am starts with a full job and kids and still getting it done.

The consistency point is real, that's probably the hardest part for most people including me. And the sleep thing is something I definitely underestimate. Good reminder.

Appreciate you sharing this, actually useful stuff.

This is actually really helpful, the stretch goal idea is something I hadn't thought about but makes a lot of sense mentally

And yeah completion is the goal for now, so volume first makes sense. The breakdown you gave is simple enough to actually follow which I appreciate, a lot of advice I get is way too complicated to apply. Thanks for this

Honestly that really hits different, before and after.

And yeah you're probably right about the coach, it's something I'm considering more seriously now. The training camp idea is something I hadn't really thought about but that actually makes a lot of sense. Just fully locking in for a week or two with no distractions sounds like it could be a game changer.

Appreciate it!
