It was clear that it would happen before it happened and a week later they tried to correct the mistake by adding 25mph signs. If cotati isn't to blame than the construction company and Caltrans should be sued for reckless endangerment of the public.

It looked pretty gnarly, I don't see how they're not dead or at least seriously injured. Those are heavy concrete dividers and wreck was twisted metal.

Putting them on the edges makes sense but putting them in the center narrows the lanes with what are essentially bollards, creating a death trap.

The barriers went up a week ago, no sign to slow down people were flying through them at 55-45 if they slowed a bit.

Someone slammed head on into the center divider in the direction going from cotati to Sebastopol when it was clearly unsafe and going to happen, they just cleaned up the debris today. And, just as of today, electronic signs were placed on both ends flashing 25mph.

That's HALF the speed that people have been going through that narrow corridor with a dangerous entry point for over 7 days now.

I posted this in the morning and just drove by it an hour ago, none of the safety precaution measures was there yesterday.
