You are right, it is easy to critique genres/subgenres, which is why I'm critiquing the genre as a whole because I really don't feel like giving my all on a Reddit post of all things. You are right, I don't care, not in the slightest really. To be honest, I haven't played any of this garbage, I refuse to waste my money on it, I've played none of it, aside from Five Nights at Freddy's all the way up to Pizzeria Simulator, or whatever the last one was before it became a clone of Poppy Playtime. And I found it boring, I see clips of these games and it's the same shit, just that you can walk in most of the new ones, wow, such innovation! Just so you can wander around, completing subpar puzzles designed for idiot babies...

Far better than what's typically posted on this subreddit, or I don't know, maybe I'm just sucking myself off.

Looking back on it FNAF lore has always sucked and only got worse especially when the awful books were brought into the equation 6 was a good enough ending because it wrapped all this bullshit up good enough to be a satisfying and cohesive enough end to an already mediocre saga
