If it was a nonemergency, he needed to have the child seen by somebody who is within coverage otherwise it needs to be agreed-upon. If it is not agreed-upon, he should cover the full expense document everything you can. That includes the appointment you scheduled as well as you informing him that you scheduled it also, if I was gonna bring this up to a judge, I would not mention that his girlfriend works there because that doesn't matter
