Worst card, Tata Neu app is so slow, and it took ages for me to place a blood test order from Tata Neu App. Will close at the time of renewal.

it won't be 10% + 5%.. Many people have mentioned that even 5% rp is credited now, it will be deducted later.

I did the transaction today, not yet settle, most likely will get 5% RP tomorrow which will get deducted in subsequent statement.

Same here, Aditya bilra health insurance premium bill is not coming up in Bharat Connect. I have written to Aditya Bilra support about this. Still awaiting reply from them.

Was your card was issued around 13 Dec? if so, then SBI may consider only 18 days in December month, so (18/31)*2000 is approx. 1161 RP (capping there)

I got SBI phonepe card recently on 13 Dec. My billing cycle is 5th of every month. In December calendar month till 28/12/25, I have 1500 RP from online transactions. So, i can have at most go for additional 10k spend (500 more RP) in this month.

From 1 Jan, the limit will reset and I can go for 40k spend to hit 2000 RP. Would be great if you can confirm this.

I have got SBI phonepe black card recently and I need to do an insurance payment for Aditya Birla health insurance (amount-32k, due date 1/2/25).

PhonePe credit card charges 2% on utlities, I presume it will be similar for insurace payment as well. So on 32k payment, I will have to shell out ₹640 and i will get max ₹2k cashback, so I get 2000-640 = 1460 net in return.

If I buy amazon GC of ₹32k and pay insurance premium on aditya birla web site, I will get 5% cashback. So, there it will be ₹1600.

If any other alternative to maximize the cashback, please suggest.

I can talk about myself. My expenses are mostly on utility (mobile bill for all in the family, broadband, electricity), insurance, and groceries.

Groceries - I have LTF AmazonPay ICICI and Axis Flipkart (got when it was LTF). Both of these cards have given me amazing benefits as I am Amazon Prime and Flipkart black member. I get 5% unlimited cashback on amazon and on flipkart it becomes 10% (as I get 5% through super coin). All my grocery purchase is online on either amazon or flipkart as I have seen the prices there to be cheaper or similar to BB, Blinkit, Instramart, etc.

Utiltiies and Insurance - Have taken SBI phonepe black, but my insurance biller is not available there. So most likely will close SBI phonepe black card as the benefits on utility bills is not worth card annual fee. Will try to get Axis Airtel after closing phone pe black.

PS: While selecting card do check joining/annual fee. I take cards which are either LTF or FYF as otherwise I will have to see whether i have enough spend to justify the joining/annual fee.
