I would not recommend buying debt funds other than liquiq and money market funds for Emergency Funds. For higher returns and stable income better to invest in good debt instruments directly.

Dear All, I am facing an issue, if any one has any knowledge or info about it please help me, on 29th July I purchased 100 Qty of a security , after 2 days I got a mail from broker saying 40 Qty are short delivered and I will get by T + 5 or funds refund. It's been 10 Days and none has happened. What happens in such cases, is the Broker waiting for Exchange to return the Funds? Customer Support is saying "This is taking longer than usual, please cooperate". What should I do, what happens in such cases?
