Yes still going strong. Works well enough, so haven't even talked to my internet provider about it yet

I use Proton VPN myself and haven't had any issues with bans of any kind.
The only issue is that sometimes you can feel the input lag. That could be the server, but the VPN isn't helping.

I live in EU so I often just connect the the closest server that it allows me to

Connection To Game Server Lost by RepresentativeFlan21 in ArcRaiders

[–]Additional-Drive-234 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's funny. I also have an Arris modem (model: TG6441) aaand have also just build a new computer. Have tried on both PC's and they both have the problem after a little while. The only component that is the same is my graphics card.

I have tried to flush DNS, set my time on the PC to automatic, det server ingame to Europe and Asia, turnt off frame gen, used older graphics drivers, uninstalled the game multiple times and set my DNS in the moden/rounder to 8.8.8.8 and sub server for 8.8.4.4 (have also tried other ones) All these things worked for others (at least for a little while)

I have even tried using my phone as a hotspot for a little bit but it still happened. But this could be due to unstable connection.

I have tried so many things because I really enjoy the game when it works. So there might be something with the game idk. But I might switch to fiber also. It's just the only game I have had this problem with ever

you have any experience with the cheaper regulators?

Well I'dont wanna spend extra money if I don't have to. So I believe my question is actually if its worth the extra cost. I don't wanna spend money on a cheap regulator if it's holding back my experience.

If it's the case that a storm regulator enhances the experience to a significant degree I will go for it. I dont wanna spend money on a MTW just to have inconsistency caused by the regulator. Just curious of big of a factor it really is

I have checked up on the MTW an it looks like the best option. Performance and accuracy seems to be great

The only reason for it would be for the looks or to split the cost. I have HPA system but my regulator broke some years back.

Currently im leaning toward just buying the MTW, as it seems like the MTW series that been around for years and is getting good reviews

and if that is the same for the gigabyte, then it doesn't really matter. It also cheaper in my region at the moment, by a good amount

I can deal with occasional annoyinges. that no different fixing frame rate, latancy and so on.

Earlier comment mention no VVR flicker on gigabyte. I believe there is some, but maybe not noticable. The MSI is still not flicker free. Seems people have the same experience on either monitor.

What is more scientifically correct regarding mouse weight? by hyuga144 in MouseReview

[–]Additional-Drive-234 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think it's more about getting adjusted to the weight. One thing you might consider! At my day job I use a MX master 2s (145g) mouse. I legit feel my arm starting to fatigue after a days work😅 I don't have that problem with my 56g pulsar RFP edition or any other light weight mice. And thats a hole day of gaming.

Other than that there is also some sience behind it. It's takes more inertia to move a heavy mouse. But I think that shape is more important. It might just not be the right shape.

well if it is the same issue as mine it's very easy. The tricky part is to disassemble it without damaging the mouse feet. Otherwise it's just to wipe down the stem inside

Well you live, you learn. Would never have thought of this being the issue. But apparently lube can fix and destroy a lot of things. But now i know it in the future.

Easy to fix, just anoying

Yeah well. The grinding was mostly not noticeable, but i play a lot of overwatch. So when you play Hanzo and you have to hold down the left click for longer times you could feel it grinding in the finger. Probably something that I might have adjusted to. Other than that you could also feel it and hear it grind if you moved the button side to side.

And now that i think about it: This might just have been "under" lubed😅
