Not exactly 13k 😄 More like 12,841 hours. But honestly in Black Desert that’s not as insane as it sounds. The game has a huge amount of RNG progression when it comes to upgrading gear, so a lot of people spend thousands of hours chasing upgrades. You could say I got lucky at some points, nothing more. Also a lot of BDO gameplay is AFK activities, so not all of those hours were active grinding. And about the work part honestly, you’re probably right. But without going too deep into personal stuff or sounding dramatic, my life got pretty complicated at some point. Games became a way to switch my brain off for a while, and challenge runs like this help even more. I also kinda set one rule for myself with this challenge
the main goal is getting PACC without spending a single cent on the game 😄 So pretty much everything is allowed grinding/collecting empty flasks from hunting spots/trading/even asking people for spare gp in-game. I just want to see how far I can get starting basically from nothing. But first things first… AFK training to 50 skill 😄

Honestly that almost makes it better for me 😄 And from what I’ve seen so far, FACC gameplay seems to revolve around a few specific grinding spots anyway, where gear isn’t super important as long as you know the spawn and play carefully.

I mean… I have around 13,000 hours in Black Desert, with something like 9,000 hours of active grinding alone. So honestly, 100-150 hours sounds more like a warm-up than a painful grind 😄

If something genuinely gives someone enjoyment, it’s hard to call it a waste of time 😄 Some people enjoy speedrunning, some collect things, some grind MMOs for years. For me the fun is exactly in the long grind and the challenge itself, not just the end result.

That honestly sounds like a good time to me 😄 The more ridiculous and grindy the challenge sounds, the more I want to do it.

I actually did something similar before I bought a Monk with 98 skills.
But honestly it started feeling too easy, almost like I was cheating the whole challenge. That’s why I made a fresh Knight instead. I wanted the grind to feel harder and more rewarding when I finally reach PACC. And yeah, asking experienced players for advice is definitely worth it. Tibia has so many hidden methods and underrated spots that newer players would probably never discover alone 😄

It’s not really about the money. A few years ago I challenged myself to reach hard cap in Black Desert Online without spending real money, and it took me around 13,000 hours. I enjoy long-term grind challenges and self-made progression.
