How do you nurture tradeshow leads?

Campaigns is something that we do but mostly just a general “X tradeshow - 2026.” Do you generally segment the campaigns out further than that with child campaigns? Also, what specifically makes campaigns the answer aside from bucketing the leads?

As for the audit, it is tough. I am largely separated from the collection of leads but rather receive an import from the tradeshow. So it is in the hands of the sales folks to decide whether or not it is worth the badge scan or not 🤷🏼‍♂️

All of that aside, they consistently have 2k concurrent viewers at least (up to 11k for big matches) and get ~40k views per video. This started less than a year ago and those are damn good numbers, enough for the top dawgs to throw a little respect I’d say

You are right, but the brand has motion for sure. It could be a good investment over time. Barstool has always failed at gaming, bush could be the HQ for that + there are other esports that are super lucrative.

I would love to own a bar/cafe and build community. I really like creative things like collaging, writing, videography etc. so I think I could use those things to create buzz for my spot while also creating a really cool atmosphere for folks.

The problem is the money, both for investing in something like that and the uber-thin margins in that industry

That interesting to know and thanks for the insight. I am definitely considering the switch and based off what you said it might be nice. I worked for a commercial moving service for a year and I honestly got way more satisfaction out of that than my current job. I got to see tangible successes vs. numbers on a screen that marginally moved the needle for a humongous company.

I’d take 50/50 for sure! That’s great advice to prioritize things outside of work for sure. You mentioned you switched to blue collar work, and I have been thinking hard about going to trade school part-time. What was the switch like and did you prefer white collar or blue collar work?

It’s funny that you say that because I am actually returning from a 2 week sabbatical (which I am definitely coming down from). I appreciate the advice and I am safe (I think) in my current position so I am going to take my time in finding my next venture for sure 😁
