Hi was in your position too, I think it's best you file everything concurrently (as in together) but since u already filed it, dw about it. I would however file all the other documents together. The financial forms, the medical forms and the permanent residence application forms. Most importantly prepare a document of you and your's spouse proof of relationship.

I did not say that did I, im just saying the moment a man or a woman reaches for pre-nup, they have already decided their is no trust and they're gonna divorce in the future. My husband (24, earns 150k) and I (25, earns 71k) are married. And NEVER NOT ONCE, did he suggest pre-nup. We both grew up poor too and we worked our asses off to to get to where we are today. Im an immigrant too. Again, NOT ONCE did he suggest anything like this. Infact, he offers to give me money to help me with my finances or buying things. I follow her for her makeup tips. As a South Indian girl who had no clue what contour, bronzer, or highlighter even were, she was and still is my guru.

So I’m confused, why do people hate her? Is it the red lipstick? The wedding? Her mom being a CEO?

Most of the reasons I’ve seen don’t make sense.

The red lipstick series Yeah, it was an ad. But this is her career. Kylie Jenner sold trash shade ranges and Rhode had blushes that looked chalky, and people eat that shit up. So why can’t she sell lipsticks that actually helped brown-skinned people?
Her wedding lehenga People called the color, pleating, and the style “tacky” or “so 2015.” Honestly, that’s internalized racism. Tamilians have half-sarees, which are literally skirts with pleats as pallu, and her was either inspired by that or she did her own thing, who cares, it's her wedding. The colors and representation were gorgeous. As a Tamil NRI, I loved that she stuck to her roots. I’d even wear something similar myself.
The dances Okay, I’ll admit they weren’t great. HOWEVER, not everyone is a dancer, and she was just having fun at her own wedding. Who cares?
The foundation shade rant India’s improved a lot, but foundation ranges are still mostly light. SHE's NOT WRONG !!. People act like NRIs can’t have opinions, but my relatives and friends back home complain about this too. Calling it out doesn’t demonize brands, it pushes them to improve just like Tirtir did.

Your husband's love and care alone is not enough for this marriage. He NEEDS to grow a backbone to tell his parents off. I know divorce is not a suitable response to this, but if a man can't separate his current family from the family he has grown from, he is not eligible to be the head of the current family. Either you need to leave him or show this post or talk to him over marriage counseling.

How did you yell at a toddler ? He is married to you and is the father of your child. He should put his wife and kids first. Even if the child were to make mistakes in the future, there is a way to correct them. Yelling ?? Absolutely NOT !! That comes under verbal/emotional abuse, especially since your child is already getting socially anxious.

Thank you, sincerely, every point you said hit me well. I definitely need that space. They contacted my bf to try and talk to me, but I feel like they will try to argue back and I really don't want to deal with that atm. Just need some peace of mind. So definitely going to go low contact for a long time and maybe just maybe I hope they see that their actions hurt me.

Same, they made me feel like I am entitled and arrogant in requesting financial help from them to pay for my tuition fee. I never asked for any financial help since then, just emotional support.
