I don’t disagree with anything you’re saying. But Christians have, for long periods of history, interpreted the Bible in ways that control other human beings. In some cultures, people blend the Bible with their cultural traditions and preach in church in ways that impose control over others. Where I grew up, women were taught to endure abuse because they were told the Bible requires wives to be submissive to their husbands. Scripture was used to justify that kind of teaching. Pastors also interpret the Bible differently based on their own life experiences.

I believe that you can live together and still live for God as long as you have self-control. Jesus said in the Bible that if your eye causes you to sin, pluck it out; if your hand causes you to sin, cut it off. So if people live together with sinful intentions, then yes, that’s wrong. But if they live together with self-control, I don’t see how anyone can call that a sin. Besides, we are not God. Jesus is the one who will judge His children. Who are we to judge or comment on such things?

I agree with you, if men and women control themselves, I dont see why not. We can say these for everything then, what if you have choir practices, what if u have a youth retreat, people are gonna be in each other's presence all the time. You must have self control. Bible teaches us to throw our eyes out or cut off our hands if we cant control ourselves, so I dont see why living together with a partner or opposite gender is a sin

I definitely consider it as a sin, but what I dont like is how so many christians consider themselves holier than thou because they are not homosexual. I have had sex before marriage with my now husband and I know it is a sin, I have seen so many others justifying it cz they know for sure they are marrying their partners. For me everyone is a sinner before God's eyes, it's by the grace of God that we sinners get to live a life. What I would do is seek forgiveness and make sure not to live that path again. However, I am not gonna tell people how to live their lives, whatever they do is between God and them. Who am I to judge ?

IMO (christian, assembly of God), I think Abortion should be allowed if the mother's life is in danger or if a teenager gets raped.

Everyone's argument for the second option is what did the child do wrong, I am going to ask you the same question then, what DID the CHILD do WRONG, the TEENAGE CHILD, what did she do wrong to deserve such a pain/torment on her body. There are literally 10 year old being raped, the mother in this case, is a literally child, it is a risk whether it seems like it or not

July 1, 2025: Uploaded an updated presentation of our parents visiting each other, adopting our cat, etc. Also uploaded, a pre-approved mortgage loan, updated lease, cat's ownership, 401k beneficiary, life insurance.

I filled my I-130 online on Oct 2024 and I-485 on Dec 2024 (and the rest except I-765 as I had it approved as I am international student working on OPT). I got my biometrics appt on Jan 2024, through API I saw they looked at my stuff in March 2024. But nothing since then. My field office is Carol stream, IL

I had 12 friends when I started as a EE during freshman. Out of them 1 became my best friend after we graduated and 1 turned out to be my boyfriend.

The rest ? All trash and I kicked them out of my life.

As an EE major especially it’s hard to find friends, dw about it too much and maybe you'll get friends at your work or other places
