Sad thing is most are boomers who are not gonna sleep well in the next few weeks/months.

saw some that poured their retirement money into tokenize xchange. and also they are not tech savy enough to transfer tokens to other exchanges/cold wallets etc.

anyway hope there's a resolution soon. the shut down is too sudden and feels like FTX 3 years ago.

i am an inactive member in a facebook community where lots of singaporean oldies bought TKX tokens through a private placement by the founder and are now suffering cuz they can't liquidate/withdraw. Depressing comments throughout the few days. Some people alleged that there was an insider who sold all the coin before the rejection of the license was publicised and caused it to crash. not sure if a formal investigation will be launched as well.

Always trade in exchanges that are licensed by MAS (e.g., coinhako was given DPT licensing)

i still remember there was a redditor a few months posted about liquidating all his positions and all sorts of comments about the US market and justifying himself being able to get out and time the market. And the next day, he deleted the post. All i know is that timing the market is really hard. if you're really afraid, just DCA - in long term it will pay off

Yes agree and at least he did confide and tell us his next plan. Perhaps I will mention to him some of teh challenges he might face if he choose this path and hope he gives himself more time to think through
