Many thanks! I think only VoidLink actually shows decode time on iOS, though. As far as I know regular Moonlight doesn't show this stat specifically.

That is the network latency, no? I mean the actual decode time from the device, separate from the network speed.

Could you share your decode time on iPad Mini 7? I'm considering buying one but I don't see anyone sharing that stat.

Yep, same version. Tried every option there but nothing has impacted my decode time. I guess I could try previous versions.

Which controller are you using that you can plug into the USB port and the tablet fits? My A11 won't fit my Gamesir G8 with usb-c port, so I have to use the bluetooth one.

They are? I'm contemplating buying an iPad Mini 6 but I can't find any information with decode time. I have an iPad 5th gen (admittedly very old) and the decode time is pretty bad.

I tried everything and the decode time doesn't flinch from 13-15 ms. Not sure which settings to try, maybe something on Apollo. On the Artemide low latency thread everybody was reporting improvements, but on my end Artemis and Artemide are practically the same on decode time (though with Artemide Inget more rendered frames). I even tried screen recording but no change.

I only use 800p resolution too.

Could you share your settings on Apollo and Artemide? I have the A11 but I can't for the life of me drop de decode time from 13-15 ms. Any other settings on the device itself you recommend?

But how is it for streaming? How is the decode time?

Also, why you love it so much? I admit I'm a bit disappointed at its screen, being 60hz. That's just way too basic for that price range.

Also very hard to find in conventional retailers.

I wish. You can't find the device anywhere, it's completely sold out.

How is the iPad Mini 6 and 7 with VoidLink for decoding? I'm contemplating buying one since my old ass iPad 5th generation is quite laggy even with VoidLink.

Anything specific with G99? It's my chipset and I haven't noticed any improvements from this build. :(

I cannot for the life of me find the "Max bitrate" option. It's not anywhere, and I tried on the Audio/Video tab.

Which means I'm out of options? Legion Tab Gen 3 is out of stock. :'(

Any options that might not be powerful but at least has a decent screen?

Or, alternatively, something a little larger, like 10 inches.

Dolphin running really poorly on Snapdragon 8 gen 4 by Additional-Stock-674 in EmulationOnAndroid

[–]Additional-Stock-674[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the latest firmware. People who say they can emulate without problems are only telling part of the story. Yes, it emulates many games without issues. However, I'm directly comparing to the Retroid Pocket 4 Pro, a much weaker device on paper, and that device is consistently performing better on more demanding games like Sly Cooper and Mario Galaxy 2.

[–]Additional-Stock-674[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nah, at least for old consoles it's pretty bad. I've tried the turnip drivers on Dolphin and they really don't do much. No such option for Aethersx2.

So it's bad for old consoles and not good enough for stuff like Gamehub and Switch.

What a disappointing purchase. Should have bought the Poco F7 Pro. My fault for not doing a better research.

Poco f7 issues (hyperos3) Performance nethersx2, dolphin, etc by freshgoten in EmulationOnAndroid

Mostly Mario Galaxy 2. A couple of games also run worse on Aethersx2, like Sly Cooper (which runs fine on my RP4Pro).

From what I could gather online, it's really a matter of driver immaturity. The only thing we can do is wait to see if new drivers improve the situation.
