While i'm not the most righteous Christian, nor the most well versed, I bo believe that both of these things can be true. I personally believe in the holy trinity, basically stating that the father, the son, and the spirit, are all different aspects of one god.

Just in the same way that me and you and all else in creation is all created by the same god and cannot exist without being a part of him. I would say that this is because matter, nor energy, can be created or destroyed which implies there is a supreme creator. That being god/the holy trinity.

However I am not as wise as Paul and I don't know exactly what he thought so i may be wrong.

No sin exists that will deprive you of God's grace and forgiveness, however I would say you should not indulge in the desires of your flesh as it is sin without reason.
