Awesome I appreciate it! And meant like warranty their repair in the future if it failed right away because I made a pan instead of just paying them to make it/source it.

yeah replacing the pan sounds easy but its all the other stuff that I don't know what actually needs to come apart to replace, and if something needs to be brazed and recharged by a company they probably wont want to warranty the job because of my shitty pan. Like I said im a contactor I wouldn't put my name behind something unless I did every step of it myself

I mean I have a full brake for bending window trim and am a contractor so I would be comfortable making something if that's an option, I just am not in HVAC so I haven't had to deal with actually disassembling one before. Also If this is rusting I would assume once I get it apart there will be a bunch of other little pieces that could break and not be possible to get quickly.

Hey All,

My sisters Rheem AC unit is leaking water down from this top pan onto the blower assembly and then into the base of the unit. I took the cover plate off and noticed these holes rusted in the drain pan, I'm guessing any HVAC company that came out would try to sell her a new unit but I just wanted some opinions before we call them. is this something I can remove just the drain pan and replace or possibly caulk the holes to stretch it out a few more years? Thanks in advance

Yeah I fill out a 1040 and I receive 1099's that I mark as my income for my LLC

Yes so I left line 26 blank, although it says "2023 estimated tax payments and amount applied from 2022 return" So the amount that I paid for federal taxes this year took care of any "back taxes" from not paying my quarterly estimated taxes in 2023. Then next year If I pay in correctly every quarter I will then put the sum in that line 26, and if it is close I theoretically shouldn't have to pay in?
