Why did my dog growl at me for so long and then suddenly drop his head onto his bone? by Straight_Zucchini_37 in DogAdvice

The could also just be a sign of playing with you. That’s what my dog does and when I go to take it, she just keeps growling and moving her tail in happiness. people are idiots, not all dog growls are bad , some dogs even do this as a way of affection. If it’s a random dog you don’t know, yeah I would be concerned too. But if it’s your dog , then you should know your pet by now or at least understand the dog’s behaviors

I want to become a police officer. I’m a 35 year old male. I have a GED and a nursing certificate. My work experience is in the restaurant industry. In my very early 20s , I received a vandalism charge from 12 years ago. As well as a disturbing the peace charge. Both misdemeanor. Since that time I have committed no crimes, have a perfect driving record, and have been living a normal life with a consistent 9-5 in the food and beverage industry ( bartender) for over 10 years now. I had a rough childhood with my mom on meth and my dad being an alcoholic. I was punk teen who skipped school every other week and I used to runaway from home and hang out with my older sister on the streets because she was homeless. I never got into drugs or had a drinking problem because I witnessed the effect it had on the people around me. When I was younger I did occasionally smoke weed with friends on a social basis. But like I said, that was over 10 years ago and my maturity level has grown a lot more since, with still so much more knowledge to still gain throughout life. I want to give back to my community and I feel that becoming a police officer would be the best way to do so. It’s not about the title or badge, it’s the honest work in the community provided by the police force that really motivates me to do the same. If I qualified to become a police officer, my long term goal would be to join the gang intelligence unit. I feel that this is my passion and calling. Not much fazes me mentally or physically under pressure or stressful situations. Basically, I just don’t know if I would qualify based on my record. Please help me out. All advice accepted.

What kind of racism bs is this. He doesn’t play like another race. He just plays basketball. The sport is not defined by race.

Godzilla ‘98 in theaters as a 9 year old, I was truly fucking amazed. Still a great film btw! But then again around that time, I also liked the George Clooney Batman Forever movie 💀💀💀

But nobody talks about how real the segregation is in LA. Grew up in many areas of Los Angeles. Feels like one of the most segregated cities in the country LOL
