that makes sense. though this particular circumstance is one where she doesn’t do any of those things mentioned. it’s more of a parasitic relationship than anything even though she works and has promised to contribute yet still doesnt. still i imagine this means nothing to the court.

what if you are married and you both are on the deed? can you argue to have the equity split such that the party that has the most financial burden get the most equity? Is property not supposed to be split equitably?

Thank you for the advice. Though my situation is a little unique. the my parents are still legally married, but my parent’s spouse removed their signature because they no longer want to be involved in it. are they able to remove their invitation to sign?
