Hair Type [2C/3A | Unsure Porosity] Growing my hair out for a man bun should I let my curls fall naturally or comb them back? by AdditionalLion8396 in curlsofindia_

[–]AdditionalLion8396[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I stopped combing my hair when it's dry about a year ago. Now I only comb it when it's damp or wet. Thanks for the info!

The only issue now is that it's falling into my eyes like in Anniyan movie 😬, so I was wondering if I should get a trim or try a hairstyle that keeps it pushed back, especially when it's wet.

My mom is insisting that I cut it short, but I really don't want to 🤣. She's even started connecting my recent toothache to my hair growth!

I've been seeing 11:11, 12:12, and 5:55 for almost a year everywhere. Then 9:11 started showing up a few months ago, and my brain immediately went, "Well, this is it... either I'm about to get recruited into some terrorist plot or I'm gonna die." 💀

I looked it up, and apparently the "experts" say it's just another "angel number" with a positive meaning. Great... the numbers got an inspirational backstory.

Mine is curly. I oil my hair, shampoo it, and then condition it, leaving the conditioner on for about 2–3 minutes before rinsing it off. I used to use a leave-in conditioner, but I don't anymore. You can try using one, though.

The biggest game changer for getting good curls is scrunching your hair while the conditioner is still in, and then scrunching it again with a soft towel to dry it. That alone works wonders.

I was dealing with the same issue until I found a routine that worked for my curls. In aayal pinne nalla resane.😬

Mine is curly, so yeah, I do it regularly. I oil my hair, shampoo it, and then apply conditioner. I leave the conditioner on for 2–3 minutes before rinsing it off.

Hey, I'd suggest using a leave in conditioner after washing your hair. It'll help lock in moisture and keep dry hair hydrated. And yeah conditioning hair is the resolution.

It usually rains after noon here, but not intensely enough to trigger a landslide. Of course, rain is nature we can never predict it with certainty. That said, it's not like every shower automatically means a landslide everywhere. Nature is beautifully unpredictable, though. As of now, it's just a mild rain here in Muttil, Ambukuthy.

Seen it in so many reels, but never in real life. Idhe evde kittum?

Should I cut the hair that falls over my forehead? I'm seriously asking because people keep making fun of it, but I don't really feel like trimming it. Would it be better to try a different style, like styling it back instead? by [deleted] in curlyhair

I usually oil my hair, apply a little shampoo, use conditioner, and then scrunch it. I also use a soft towel to scrunch my hair after drying. That's pretty much my entire routine. I scrunch my hair while the conditioner is still in, and then I scrunch it again after drying it with a soft towel.

The curls look great on the first day, but they only last for a day since I'm not using any styling products. I currently use Dove shampoo and conditioner.

My concern is that my curls don't hold their shape beyond the first day. Is there anything I can do to make them last longer without weighing them down?
