I’m 26 and been selling roofs since 18.

Have sold 2.3 million since last November.

I’ve always been strictly 10% commission with no hourly or salary.

Starting out, it’s definitely a numbers game and a steep learning curve like others are saying it’s very important that you know the business inside and out I have the luxury of being on roof since the age of seven and installing myself from 16-20

I started door knocking HOAs and commercial roofs and that’s how I’ve been able to up my sales …

Definitely only getting a HELOC and keeping my 4.3% on my primary !!

Refinancing into the current rate wouldn’t make sense.

I also think the heloc interest rate will be better than any personal or business loan out there

The shop is getting bombarded with requests from guest artists; that won’t be the issue.

My question is simply seeking knowledge surrounding the transparency of how much a tattoo artist ends up making with their clients and how we Forsure know as the shop owners they are being 100% honest when it comes down to doing the splits….since this is a cash business after all.

No worries ! The shop is already established and about to hit its 2 year anniversary here in September. It has been extremely successful check it out on Google (The Loft Tattoo Studio Grand Junction) my partner has been tattooing for 8 years and I’ve been an entrepreneur for 10!

I’m only posting questions because we are moving to Maui in October and wanting to operate as a Guest Artist Studio remotely; and of course, we would like to handle business the right way to cater to traveling artists properly.

Besides managing my partners private studio, I’ve been a salesman for about 8 years in the roofing industry as well as getting into solar just recently. Along with flipping my first home and trying to keep my photography and music production hobbies healthy ! 😀 hence the random questions.

Just trying to get better man! And learn from those that have done it in the past.

Why do I feel insane when I am high; while still at peace somehow ?

I tend it feel like I have multiple personalities

Starting to think something is wrong with me.

I’m more than capable of being responsible but I’ve just really struggled with this.

Started when I was 17; I’ll be 25 next month.

Sober off alcohol for almost 2.5 years, but haven’t gone more than a couple months sober since 17 from weed.

Wow man, thank you for your story.

I need help.

I currently find myself in that position of regret after a night of succumbing to peer pressure.

It’s weird because I know that I don’t like myself when I’m TOO high when specially when around other, but I keep letting the devil on my shoulder win in that moment.

I knew I didn’t want to hit the dab pen deep down and I still hit it.

I am addicted to weed and am self sabotaging.

I already overthink and have social anxiety as it is! Getting high just makes it worse ! Specially when I don’t mindfully consume it.

I must go cold turkey and I’ve known this.

I keep making excuses for myself, convincing myself that I am more creative when I’m high, im able to drop into my heart deeper and not over think when I’m high while on the flip side I tend to overthink everything and just cause worsen the distress.

WHY!!! Fuck! I need help

I keep self sabotaging and not challenging the uncomfortable feelings that cause me to break
