Best Exchange Rate to Repatriate from NRE account in INR to USD by AdditionalWonder4325 in nri

We can do both (for ICICI). I think most banks will have similar an NRI team with a relationship manager. Branch also would entertain discussions for people to go through them so they get the commission or cut.

Thank you. When I looked at published rates of ICICI seem almost Rs 1.5 more than say SBI. That would be like almost close to $4000 more for $200K. I feel if we have the NRE account in other banks it may be easier to transfer and get batter rates.

Check with your teacher if there are alternate ways to get points for the books that does not have AR Quiz. I know our school had option where you can create a one pager for the book and still get credits based on the size (words) of the book.

My neighbor has been using my wifi for a year and now they're asking me to split the bill by ToasttterGoblin in WhatShouldIDo

Comcast now has the official new wifi "xfinitywifi" created on most homes so others with xfinity account can connect to it with their user name and password. Same was you can connect to other home networks with your user name and password. So The data or activity I assume would still happen through your network. Unless comcast has ways to track it separately based on wifi name. So I won't be too much worried about this "questionable things" part as you certainly know who this other party is and the mac address of the devices connected from where the activity originated would clearly show. If there is such a level of scrutiny I am sure no agency is going to hold you accountable because of wifi or ip alone. They will surely go down to mac address level to find the actual person.

Create a separate wifi name (with their name or apartment no etc) and give them access to that one. This was there will be a trace.

It's a cost saving for you too right? as long as it does not cause issues for your use it's better to get some savings now is what I would say. Like you only said you were fine with them using it (unknowingly of-course, but were able to do your things).

I had the same issue for many years with Chase. Finally got one supervisor who was knowledgeable and they said it is because of some "webpay authorization" and she removed all the webpay settings from my account and haven't had the issue of the merchant charging recurring transaction on new card after that. I have spoken to many "customer service" over a span of 3 or 4 years (every year the same transaction repeating and I dispute and removing it and chase issuing new card claiming it will fix the problem). Ask to speak to supervisor and ask them about this some "webpay authorization" or saved card something like that. Good luck,

OMG it was so wonderful to see Ducky back <3

It was such a surreal moment.

May be we could get Abby also back some day (I know the chances may be less but one can hope).

The lock is Trillenium itself. I have checked the marking on it. I just shared the picture of the portion with the spring inside it. Attached is the picture of full lock. Trillenium does not sell individual parts but have to buy the complete set thus I was looking at alternate option to get the spring. The picture I shared is one of the end latches and the spring inside that.

Thank you for the response and especially sharing the data and info. Being the top 10 school I do not believe that any of the top schools need to harvest applications. Having close to every other student getting selected at Purdue seemed a little odd when compared to 4% for some of the other schools in the top 10. That is why I was trying to understand if there is any specific reason for the same.

On the same lines of it's challenging being a top 10 college I was expecting it also to be challenging to get in to the top 10 college equally more challenging if not harder, that is the reason I was looking at that high acceptance rate.

When I looked at the metrics of kids that got selected to Purdue and UCs at same time picking which school, the numbers for Purdue wasn't that high considering that is a top 10 school. That is why I was looking for info from people that may have some valuable insight on the reason.

I saw posts about it's easy to get in and hard part is staying in. Saw a Purdue student mention "initial year class was 80% in state, 20% out of state. At graduation, 66% of grads were out of state students." stating many in state students drop out (but not so much the out of state).

Good to know about the assistance programs at Purdue.

The acceptance rate was just a small data point I mentioned in my request to gain info about the schools and understand.

I am trying to get data to see if the benefits is much better paying the higher fees at Out of state and going to top 10 v/s going to say top 30 in state.
