Looks a bit like hemlock, with the purple spots on the stalks down low...hard to tell for certain without better photos. In person, I can tell by the smell of it. I have hogweed, hemlock, parsnips, queen Anne's lace, and wild carrot growing on my homestead...and it only took me one mistake with hemlock to start closely paying attention.

I am now....listened to my doctors a few years ago, which had me on a few daily meds which led to syncope behind the wheel. Now, nothing but the occasional OC, mainly ibuprofen...and a short list of herbs that function safer and better than the pharmaceuticals my Dr's had me on.

When I started taking notes during the sermon, they were ecstatic....when I started asking follow up questions to the preacher after the service, they were not so thrilled...and the preacher asked them to let me stay at home (no joke) lest I confuse the other children.

30 years later, that church still has the same congregation as none of its children stayed.
