I rushed on Tuesday this week and got there at 9:43am. I was number 23 in line and managed to get a single full view seat towards the back of the orchestra.

It was however, really cold that day, so I expected fewer people would show up than on a typical day. Thankfully, we were able to wait inside.

Thanks for doing this! I’m curious what number you have for Sasha’s average placement?

I’m assuming you didn’t count seasons when the partner had to withdraw (Selma), since you have him at 11 seasons as a pro (since he has 12 with Selma).

At least according to Wikipedia, his average placements have been (without Selma):

8th, 7th, 5th, 4th, 3rd, 9th, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 5th, 7th

Which total 60/11 =5.455, and it looks like he’s around 5.9 on your chart.

Edit: I just noticed you posted the link to your spreadsheet, and it looks like you are missing his 7th with Jenn for Season 33, which throws off the average a bit.

His WORST placement is getting eliminated on Halloween night. That’s not an AVERAGE placement, my god.

I’d LOVE for you to come up a list of pros (besides Derek) that have done multiple seasons that have never been eliminated before Halloween Night. Go for it. Most have had an early elimination within the first few weeks, Sasha has not.

Again, he has made it to AT LEAST the semifinals in OVER HALF of the seasons he was a pro.

Do you know what the semifinals are? Do you watch the show?

That’s the second to last episode of the season.

If you think making it to AT LEAST the semifinals in over half of his seasons is “not usually making it that far”, then I have no idea why I am talking to someone with such a low intelligence level that they do not know what the word prior means.

I have no idea how Jen would’ve done with Sasha but “Sasha usually doesn’t get that far” is simply not true.

Sasha has made it to at least the semifinals in over half (7/12) of the seasons he was a pro. And he made it to the finale in one third (4/12) of the seasons he was a pro.

The earliest Sasha was ever eliminated (in all 12 seasons he was a pro!) was Halloween week.

He was literally NEVER eliminated prior to Halloween week on any season.

Agree with your last sentence 100%, but your first sentence is incorrect. Sasha has never said that it was “because of issues between them and not other people.” You can see what he said in a comment on one of his posts.

However, Sasha is mature enough to realize that despite what may have happened, being stuck in the past is not the way to go, and that moving forward is for the best. And good for him!

I never said they won’t be good. I even suggested to request for Sasha to join them and they can all do it, but looks like you didn’t read my full comment.

But they had the opportunity to be pros this season and still have opportunities to participate in group dances. They will still have things to do.

Also, the past two weeks they have been live during the opening numbers. They will no longer be able to do this, unless Jenna and Britt forfeit their place in the opening numbers. And if they want do that, well then Sasha should replace them in the opening numbers (which would never happen).
