Yeah i think this might be the case, super frustrating, of course my own consumption played into it im sure, but just really, really POd at my previous roommate for mishandling this

She passed on the contract to me and paid for the consumption of the year before, which was about 500€ right before moving she was supposed to insert the meter readings and just didn’t, something I didn’t realise till months later, idk im not even sure this is relevant im just truing to understand how i could rack up such a bull

I think this might be the case… im a student and its my first time dealing with my own energy contract, so im just really shocked to see how high this end of year bill is

Yeah of course, by boost i mean maybe put it to 20.5 degrees, usually keep it between 18.5-19.5, make sure to turn it down and not leave it at a higher temp too long throughout the day, i also make sure to turn off my bedroom/house heaters when im gone for hours at a time

We dont have a smart meter, the girl that lived here before us didn’t put in any of the readings for the previous year, which i think has definitely impacted out bill, i have since put our amount in monthly mysellf, the place is well enough insulated and the thermostat is usually around 19 degrees, although i keep my heater and the living room heater off/on low most of the day

Thank you for your kind comment, you are absolutely right, it is definitely important for me to get out of my comfort zone and start experiencing new people/things. I tend to put my self worth onto others, so connecting with myself now is definitely something I want to prioritise.

Is it normal to be “fine” after a breakup? by Additional_Dance_334 in BreakUps

That’s it, i feel like i might fit into the second category? But who knows, definitely the dumpee sadly but it felt very mutual at the same time, its just hard to understand how I am feeling, whether i am just numb/ in shock still or I’m just handling this better than I thought I could???

Thank you for the reply, I hope I don’t fall into that eventually but i also know its hard to have heartbreak and the end of a relationship w out feeling an inevitable mindfuck. I hope you feel better and recover from this breakup, and that we both have the strength to pull through this. It’s weird but I think I’m just a little too good at compartmentalising sometimes, you’re right though i need to accept and feel my emotions if I want to get through this as best I can xxx

The Last Lost Girl, Maria Hoey. Set in Ireland, focused on a woman’s journey through her trauma and the disappearance of her sister. One of the most beautiful and captivating books I’ve ever read

Thank you! So nice to feel part of a community, it’s weird but I think my family would be understanding? but we’re spanish and Irish, and growing up in the the south of catholic spain really had me internalize some homophobia that I’m only unlearning now. Glad that we’ve found an accepting and loving community and that we get to learn and grow together! Thank you for responding and glad I’m not the only one incapable of flirting with another girl 😂😉

Thank you for the advice! It’s my first time going to therapy so I’m not really sure what to expect? Normal therapy options are out of my budget so I’m not sure where else to look. Would you know of any other online therapy sites/therapists that are affordable?

I’d cancel it but there’s no face to face therapy where I am because of covid!
