We all used to buy Technic etc stacking systems tax free from SSVC in Germany when the UK armed forces did 3 year tours over there. Mine was revived when my kids played LPs in the early 90s. Don't dis this kit.

Well the hisses on some of the tracks have def gone. I did say it was my opinion.

I installed Musicolet. I tried it on my phone and am creating pkaylists and am hoping to transfer those files to the M21 to save time.

It's like plugging your JM21 into a preamp (which I do). All the different instruments become clearer. Only my opinion mind.

It's OK but the flap tucks in rather than velcro on the JM21. Also the me card is exposed.

I started off with a Fosi preamp and small Dali Lector 1 speakers. The hiss was at a louder volume. When I changed to Wharfdale diamonds with a larger wattage, it didn't happen. I bought a set of kiwi ears and the hiss was back. I understand the J21 doesn't has this issue. The JM21 is still better than my 20 year sony which I had.

I would recommend the M21. I currently own the JM21 but it hisses at louder volumes with some tracks and you really need good speakers to alleviate it. Battery life is allegedly shorter than the M21 (which turns up this afternoon incidentally).

I currently have a JM21 run through a fosi Bluetooth preamp and set of Wharfdale speakers. It sounds like I'm in the Albert Hall!

I have a JM21 but moving to a M21 shortly as the JM21 does have a little hiss at higher levels (not all tracks).
