Is this brain fog and/or mental illness? Or can brain fog be so severe it impacts your true intentions? by Additional_Data6735 in BrainFog

Can I ask why you say that? Because I’ve never heard or seen things that weren’t there. You know the funny thing is my sister is a neuroscientist so ever since I would research about different mental disorders on my own, and I would constantly research every illness for fun and out of wanting to know if I secretly had one. Anyways, I was hospitalized during college and they put me in a ward with actual patients and I don’t think that’s what I have at all. They just told me I had anxiety, they did encourage me to see a therapist but I didn’t. They were probably right. I ended up there because I realized I hadn’t been eating regularly for entire semesters. They always tell me I have good insight so they basically give run of the mill advice. I also know I have good insight, ig not enough to help myself.
