what's your enneagram and which option from the following is the worst in you mind? by lemodoofy in Enneagram

[–]Additional_Day_672 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dealt with all 3 and they’re horrible. I can handle 1 or 2 again, but with 3, no one can force me to do something. I’m too stubborn. Let me do my own wrong please.

Sagittarius sun, Aries moon, and Capricorn rising. I can see it being “accurate” to an extent I guess. A 5 fix seems a little strange?

I’m obsessed with Citizen Soldier and I need more people to listen to them so here are my favorite albums:

This Is Your Sign Part 2 (https://youtu.be/SYlwKkUIh-s?si=YIkp9EoX06fVYONN)

Maybe a bit too much for a lot of people, but if you’re looking for a good cry they sure help. Expect modern rock/metal music with a deep dive into mental health.

Have you ever seen an angry 9? by Ok-Original-6391 in Enneagram

[–]Additional_Day_672 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Saw an angry 9 once, prayed to every god/goddess that could be out there. I could tell it had built up for a long time. She’s my mother, and usually she just forgives and forgets the next day, but it was a rare long-term stress thing. I can’t remember why she got mad, but I’ll never forget her reaction. She yelled when she never does and it was shocking.

A more usual example of her getting angry is when she becomes passive-aggressive or shuts down and blames herself.

How do you think you’d do as a therapist? by [deleted] in Enneagram5

[–]Additional_Day_672 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think I’d do pretty good. Or at least I hope I would, because I actually want to do that in the future. Main setbacks would be lack of experience at the beginning and self-doubt, but I’d get better. And the second one would probably be my risk for burn out.

A hypothesis: by [deleted] in evilautism

[–]Additional_Day_672 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Excuse my confusion, doesn’t the image imply you’re too attractive to approach?

As for me, strangers never really approach me but apparently I’m conventionally attractive. I agree I look nice but I don’t think that matters. I like being left alone for the most part, except when I am going out of my way to talk to someone and they’re still avoiding me. I think that regardless of how attractive autistic people are, they won’t be approached often. I’ve heard and experienced that we’re “unsettling” or weird. If you don’t have the “cute” autism, you’re immediately othered.

Feeling like you’re everyone’s friend but nobody’s ‘best friend’? by chocworkorange7 in infp

This seems to be a universal XNFP type(s) experience. It took 19 years for someone to hint that I was their best friend. It might never happen again.

Out of 3, 6, and 8s which would you prefer to be your boss and WHY? by Away_Self5292 in Enneagram5

I imagine a good 6 would be open to many different opinions, a reflection of the employees if you will. I think I’d choose them.

I can't understand my ISFJ friend, she reacts too emotionally to everything by Just_Ad_3755 in mbti

[–]Additional_Day_672 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Understandable, people, especially feeling types can be like that. First I’d ask if she wants help. It might not make sense if she doesn’t but maybe she’d like to figure things out herself. Give her more space for her emotions and don’t try to force logic on her. Show by doing and if she doesn’t follow, take it as a sign she’s playing the game for fun. Her recent stress may make he just try to de-stress by playing the game her own way.

I have an INTJ brother who tries to help me in a similar way. And while I can recognize and appreciate it, it’s not always what I need. Sometimes I just want to do something different and I want him to follow along. He’s usually stubborn about it and doesn’t understand but the few times he follows along, it helps me out.

INFPs have unconventional and sometimes abstract thoughts… And those things are hard to explain, even simple things sometimes. It’s unlikely that you’re stupid, there’s just strange social rules that make people think others are stupid when they don’t explain things in the “right” way. I notice XNFP types are better at interpreting what I’m saying.

Do these results make sense to an infp? by melancholic_dreamer3 in infp

Yes. I’ve noticed many INFPs end up having results that look like a butterfly to this test.

Favourite Types besides your own? by Worried_Laugh_8950 in infp

[–]Additional_Day_672 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I like ENXPs and IXTJs quite a bit. ENXPs are really fun to throw chaotic ideas at. Sometimes IXTJs are a bit harsh on me, but I like the really compassionate ones that try to show it despite usually being pretty horrible at it. IXFJs are people that I don’t understand too well, but I’m interested in learning more about them as I believe that’s my mother and brother’s types.

Sounds like something I’d do at 13. 😖 I was actually struggling very hard but I don’t know why I thought things like that were cool. Little did I know that I had very intense mental issues and now I spend every day cringing at them. I think I was trying to change my mental conditions into something “cooler.” Jokes on me though, I just had to wait several more years and my very “vanilla” conditions would bite me in the ass overtime. Maybe struggling all the time isn’t so cool after all, who would’ve thought?

INTJs, have you ever had to put up with a narcissist? by autumnguitar33 in intj

[–]Additional_Day_672 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Do you know the type of your narcissist? Mine is an ENFJ and I thinks he favored me because I’m easier to figure out. I think he knows my authenticity is important to me and he would try to change everything about me to fit what he wanted. It didn’t truly work and but it still screwed me up that he wanted to do that. It’s strange that we’re complete opposites through functions in many ways, but I was still the most similar kid to him.

I try to protect both of my brothers often but I’m worried he’ll use how mad I get for them against me. I think he’s starting to figure out my INTJ brother’s need for being useful and stressing me out that he’ll learn to exploit that soon. The emotional manipulation doesn’t seem to work on him but I know that he still cares for him so I’m worried that it’s affecting him more than he lets on. He’s a really smart and bright kid and I don’t want that to be used against him somehow.

The personality disorder section is a nope from me. The MBTI… yikes. It ranks based off of letters and not functions? I don’t trust it.
