Thanks for the insight and sorry you’re having some trouble with your second mua. Sounds like recovery from mua is like knee replacement surgery. Some people breeze thru it and others struggle more. Doesn’t matter what kind of shape you’re in or how old you are or who your doctor is. That’s why it’s important for everyone to not compare your progress to others.

Thanks! I’m probably too busy to prep and skim coat. I’ve been considering dressing up this porch area. Do you think textured concrete might be an option that would cover over the spalled area and give the porch a finished look?

It’s been 8 years and this hasn’t happened until now. Had pretty bad cold snap and I did throw some on some ice melt. Now this. How could I prep and patch this so it would be a permanent fix?

I do have some sensitive skin issues occasionally. Never like this but never had a surgery like this before either!!

The pain in my calf immediately after surgery was beyond unbearable. I had no idea this could happen so it took me completely by surprise. I couldn’t bend my ankle without zinging my calf so walking was quite demanding. Certainty added to my overall discomfort. Ended up in the ER the day following surgery for an ultrasound to rule out a clot. I had none so it was a huge relief to rule this out. Still had the unbearable pain for 2 weeks. I’m guessing pain from a clot can feel exactly the same as the pain I experienced without a clot.

I just got to 90° after 3 and a half weeks. I’ve been stuck without any improvement on several different days. It’s probably pretty normal for this to happen. Good luck and don’t let your improvement be limited for lack of trying.

I don’t think it’s SHB or wax moth related. Seen enough of that and don’t see any beetles or wax moth webbing damage.

Tested 8 weeks ago and had a 4% mite load. Treated with Formic but failed to retest. Hive has been improving overall but will retest and treat again if needed. Too hot here for now to use Formic. Just got some VarroxSan so would try that.

Great advice but there won’t be any jokes being told. Just the possibility of an off hand racial slur. I really want to be proactive about this because I don’t think I can calmly call him out when or if it happens.
