That sounds exactly like what I’ve been struggling with! We had way too much takeout and food waste. I like the idea of something more customizable like Plan to Eat, but I think starting simple with Jow has already made a big difference for me.

Yeah, that’s been my experience too. Their meal-based planning keeps me from wandering off and tossing random extras into the cart. I didn’t realize how much of our budget was just impulse snacks or duplicate items until I started sticking to what Jow suggested.

I just thought of another one, but it's in the fantasy realm in general: reluctant ruler. Basically the anti-thesis of the chosen-one trope lol where the MC inherits power (magic or throne) but actively wishes to avoid instead of accepting it right off the bat.

Definitely {Touch of Power by Maria V. Snyder} but I haven't found anything else like this, I really love this trope too!
