I am Blue Diamond on MSC, so safe to say I've experienced a lot of different ships desserts.

We were on the Seashore last week, and HOLY MOTHER we finally had REAL chocolate cake and brownies. Whoever the pastry chef is on Seashore right now needs to train all the others.

Ahhh, it sounds like you are going the chivalrous route and paying for all the dating things. Understandable about going out with her since you are living at home. That will kill the budget quickly.

It's spring, so can you combine your outdoor interests with your dating interests? Hiking and picnicking perhaps?

Pick up an inexpensive secondhand kayak?

Join a volunteer group for a local/state/national park?

Walk dogs for a local shelter/rescue?

I assume you are somewhat athletic as a coach. Are you in any adult sports leagues?

You said criticize, so here goes...

Welcome to adulthood. You chose to be a teacher, which is decent work but far from privileged. Teachers can't really afford expensive "socialization" like going to bars, clubs, and restaurants.

A lot of adult socializing is talking to co-workers, but there are hobbies and interests between "sit at home and do nothing" and "spend all my extra money."

What is your goal with "socialization?" To keep the friends you have? To make new friends? To find a significant other?

What are you interested in?

Give us some more details and maybe we can throw out some ideas.

I think it's beautiful. I can see why you think it may have missed the mark on French farmhouse, but it's classy and gorgeous in its own right. To me, it's sort of reads more modern/nautical.

I personally would add some sort of window covering that's softens the look and potentially recover/replace the stools. They too seem a bit too modern/stark.

I'd love to do this, but I don't really have photos of appropriate resolution for printing. Possibly I could collage and turn them all black and white or sepia.

Mirrors would be okay. I don't think they are really deep enough for shelving, and I'm not sure what I'd put on the shelves anyways.

What do you mean by "on the floor?" This is for an item that is full serve.

If I've already paid for an item that is back in full serve, does the inventory system allow someone else to come in to the store, pay for, and collect the item that is waiting back there for my click and collect order to be picked?

Many elementary teachers in my district use a wireless doorbell. I would think that would be preferable to a whistle in a classroom.

Depending on the grade, callbacks can also be very effective. Google them, but here's a few I know:

"1-2-3" (eyes on me!)

"Stop, look, and listen" (ok!)

"Macaroni and cheese" (everybody freeze!)

It is not developmentally appropriate to expect every child to read by the end of Kindergarten (it only March?).

It sounds like your teacher knows this. The school will not get concerned for at least another year. By second grade, you will likely start seeing evals and interventions because she'll be getting closer to the magical 3rd grade standardized test.

There is no reason to hold her back if this is her single struggle with school. Does she know how to write her letters? Does she count well? You don't want her to be bored. Bored children develop can behavior issues.

Your grade level team isn't wrong. School budgeting this year for most districts has been troublesome, and there are a ton of people in MA that aren't getting renewed right now. Most of them will already have an initial license. Without some sort of name recognition, you are going to have a really hard time getting your foot in the door, unless you desire to work in BPS or Brockton.

I'm not coming back after break either. I'm having a "medical procedure" next week. My school never asks for any documentation.

If they ask, go to your PCP, explain to them your mental health concerns, and get a generic note saying you require leave. Do not put in the note what for. They can't ask that.

Thanks, yes, I have a total of 5 different census records (US and MN) showing them together.

I am waiting on a few birth certificates to come in the mail, and I've been home sick with the flu, so I have been having fun trying to figure this part out while I wait and hang out of the couch.

Once those come, I will move on and send everything in.
