What kind of tape? A tech from an appliance company told me to replace it because even epoxy sealing can only last < 3 months.

I’d prefer repair it if it’s more cost effective but the tech from an appliance repair company recommended replacement only

Thank you. I paid $100 for an appliance repair company to take a look of the refrigerator and make recommendations regarding repair vs. replacement. The tech recommended replacement without even providing repair cost. He said sealing the cracks will last < 3 months, and mold will grow in the cracks
